THE GOAL OF THE FLEX PROGRAMME IS: TO STRENGTHEN THE BOND BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE UK THROUGH INTENSE TWO WEEK LEADERSHIP PROGRAMMES THAT RUN IN LONDON ANNUALLY. THESE PROGRAMMES TARGET ‘HIGH POTENTIAL’ UKRAINIAN TEENAGERS AND FOCUS ON LEADERSHIP SKILLS, RESILIENCE, RESPITE, BUILDING CONNECTIONS AND EDUCATION AND CULTURAL IMMERSION
UKUATogether supports Ukrainian teenage students who have experienced the atrocities of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. The FLEX Programme targets High Potential Teenagers (presented by the Kyiv Regional Government and selected by UKUAT) who want to be part of building Ukraine into a democratic, modern country of the future. We look for Teenagers who want to excel in their future fields (be it in Government, Art, Music and much more) and maintain strong connections with Britain.
CFC has been incredible in both financially sponsoring the FLEX Programme Participants to come to the UK as well as hosting them for a day dedicated to experiential learning, education of the sector and meaningful dialogue.
Wizz Air has been instrumental in flying the 26 FLEX Participants, as well as their Chaperones to the UK. Wizz Air have also created an opportunity for the Participants to come into their offices and meet the airlines Ukrainian colleagues and gain insight into the aviation industry and look into career prospects in the industry.
