How you can support us

WHAT WE DO – GROWTH

WE ARE UKUATOGETHER (UKUAT), A CHARITY DEDICATED TO FOSTERING SECURE, ECONOMIC, AND GROWTH-ORIENTED CONNECTIONS BETWEEN THE UK AND UKRAINE.

At the point of the invasion of the Ukraine by Russia our charity immediately mobilised and sent convoys of aid trucks to as far east in the Ukraine as we dared. Then as the war became established UKUAT facilitated the safe relocation of numerous Ukrainian refugee families to the UK, guiding them towards successful integration and prosperity in their new lives.

WE ARE NOW PLANNING FOR THE POST WAR GROWTH PHASE WHICH WE LOOK FORWARD TO.

THE GOAL OF THIS PROGRAMME IS: TO STRENGTHEN THE BOND BETWEEN UKRAINE AND THE UK BY ARRANGING HOSTED VISITS (OF TWO WEEKS) FOR UKRAINIAN TEENAGERS TO THE UK, CONCENTRATING ON RESPITE, LANGUAGE ACQUISITION, AND EDUCATION.

Our target audience consists of Ukrainian teenage students who have witnessed the atrocities of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.

Through these efforts, we can contribute to Ukraine’s progress and nurture its young citizens – its future leaders – by exposing them to life in a Western Democracy and its functioning. We have the full backing of both the Ukrainian government and the Ukrainian Embassy in the UK. In 2023, we plan to operate a pilot program involving 14 adolescents from Kyiv region.

THE NEXT STAGE IS THE UA FUTURE LEADERS EXCHANGE PROGRAMME (FLEX) TARGETING UKRAINIAN ADOLESCENTS AGED 14-17.
